The London Diaries: Buckingham Palace and Windsor Palace

We hear so much about the posh side of Great Britain that, after being in the country for over a couple of weeks and having not yet gone, I was pretty eager to finally get to see these notorious estates that Britain is known for.

I don’t think that I have ever felt so inferior and small than when I was walking the gold encrusted grounds of Buckingham Palace. I felt like if I were to look at something for too long I would soil it with my peasant eyes. I remember repeatedly gawking at the fact that people actually live like this, and how I could never imagine myself waking up in an estate worth 5 billion dollars. BILLION. This place was so grand and lavish and, to be honest, a bit over the top in my opinion. Still, I can’t deny the fact that it was absolutely stunning.

As you can imagine, you can’t take pictures inside the palace, which was a bummer because it truly was unreal. But we were still able to take fun pictures here and there on the grounds of these gorgeous castles.
